No one knew what I was going through. No one cared what I was going through. The people who were once close to me who unbeknown to me had been harboring jealousy towards me now saw this as an opportunity to try and bring me down through character assassination, defamation of character, false accusations, and everything that will Lift them up at the expense of pulling me down.
Why I am doing Healing With Bethy
Healing with Bethy started as a result of a grief-induced Trauma I went through in my life.
I am my mother’s only surviving child and I grew up with her after losing my father at a very young age. So my mother became both a mother and a father figure to me and provided all the needs that a child needs.
After my mother died a few years ago, my life became a very dark hole where I was the only one who knew what was in that hole. I was alone, I was isolated, I was in pain, I lost friends, I lost some family members, In short, my mother’s loss opened more doors of losses. Even those that I thought were pastors or prophets turned into wolves in sheep’s clothing.
The answer that came was WHY NOT YOU.
I was left alone. In this moment of darkness and emptiness, I saw light. I saw Purpose and the Vision and Dream of “Healing With Bethy” was born.
And that is how Brand Healing with Bethy was birthed. Healing With Bethy is a ONE-stop shop for all SOCIAL problems.
I realized out there that there were many people who were going through what I was going through but they did not know where to get help from. They did not even know the name of the problem they were going through. And because emotional issues are invisible, it is very hard to treat what you do not know. Even a doctor will only treat an ailment that has been diagnosed.
Some run to church. Some problems need different tools such as Psychiatric or emotional practioners. And unless the church is well equipped they will not be able to help.

I chose to use this experience for the former. Let there be good of mankind.
Whatever I went through, it was an experience that I had never been through. I felt unexplainable physical body pains all over my body. I felt empty. I indulged in comfort eating and ate every food I could lay my hands on. I put on unhealthy weight which ended up in me having high blood pressure and other health complications. I have never been one to eat the way I was eating but all of a sudden food became my comforter and friend. I started sleeping up to 18 hours a day because my body felt lethargic and heavy. At times I would go for 3 days without sleep due to insomnia. All these were affecting every aspect of my life. I did not know what was happening to me. I hated God for letting me go through what I was going through and not giving me solutions.
Why was I going through what I went through? Why was I not living the life that I had lived before? I kept asking this question and never getting any answers. One day I took my journal and wrote on an A4 page WHY ME?
